Teraswitch will be performing network maintenance at DUB1. We will be upgrading the firmware on our DUB1 Internet edge routers.
Expected impact: We designed this work to cause no customer impact. Some steps move traffic between paths, so short disruptions are possible: - Packet loss: a small amount of loss for a few seconds while routes converge. - Interruptions: short drops in connectivity during some steps, particularly on paths to external carriers or providers who do not reroute as fast as other networks.
In total, we estimate no more than 5 minutes of disruption, spread across the window. The disruption will not be continuous. Our engineers will monitor the network during and after the work. All work is done in accordance to Teraswitch operations standards, and any unexpected issues will be stopped and the change will be rolled back.
